Filter Fabric Production and Applications
Filter fabric is the basic material used in industrial dust collection systems and is produced to provide high filtration efficiency. These fabrics are specially designed to be used in jet pulse filter systems and are produced to be resistant to high temperature, dust load, and demanding environmental conditions.
Filter fabrics are produced by mechanically interlocking technical fibers using the needle punching method. This way, a dense, durable, and permeable filtration fabric with high porosity is obtained. These fabrics effectively capture dust and particles, increasing system efficiency.
Performance Enhancement with Surface Treatments
To achieve maximum filtration efficiency, fabrics undergo various surface treatments:

Hydrophobic and Oleophobic Impregnation: The fabric is dipped in special solutions to gain resistance to water, moisture, and oil. This process especially increases filter performance in humid and oily environments.

Glazing Application: One surface of the fabric is smoothed by heating. This prevents dust accumulation, facilitates air passage, and enables the filter bag to work more effectively during jet pulse cleaning.
After the process is completed, the filter fabric is rolled, cut to order-specific dimensions, and made ready for sewing in high-strength sewing machines.
